If you are a cycling fan like me, you’ll have already heard that Chris Froome secured his second TDF win. An epic performance from Team Sky and it’s great to see that they updated their Team vehicles ready for the final stage trip to Paris.
Sky have more team vehicles than any other team, mainly as they are the first team to focus on marginal gain by providing a full back up team to their athletes, including their own kitchen/restaurant bus. The BBC did a great report on Sky’s success: BBC Cycling
This has to be the coolest team photo out there! Zenit St Petersberg released this photo in their Instagram last week and it’s received much acclaim.
Certainly makes a difference to the usual boring team photos we see, as well as providing Football with a much needed bit of class.

Open plan offices are great. Just not for doing any actual work! I love the interaction with colleagues, but when you need to really knuckle down and be productive, I need less distractions.
I saw this really cool design by Steelcase of their new Brody designed productivity pod. The theory is that workers need complete concentration to reach a state of peak productivity called “Flow”. A 45min window to achieve your best results.
I love this concept as it really fits into the way I like to work. I like to focus for bursts of productivity, then get up and move to a different location, usually a standing desk or sideboard to reenergise.
